A documentary style Wedding video is charactarised by events following one upon another in chronological sequence. The ceremony is usually presented in its entirety with very little editing. The reception and cocktail party are presented almost in the same way, with all the toasts in their entirety and the events shown as they ooccured, such as the grand entrance, the first dance, the toasts, cake cutting, etc. Below are several examples. Please be aware that the videos run in excess of 40 minutes. This kind of coverage is usually at much lower cost and covered with one to two Videographers.
FOR BEST VIEWING EXPERIENCE, PRESS PLAY AND THEN PAUSE AND ALLOW VIDEO TO LOAD COMPLETELY BEFORE PRESSING PLAY
This is an example of a single camera coverage. The video has been slightly edited with events following one upon another. The coverage of the ceremony is from one side, looking over the shoulder of the groom at the bride. This angle is almost guaranteed no blockage from a photographer standing in front of the camera, whereas if the camera had been positioned at the back of the aisle, the likliehood of being blocked would have been much higher. Single camera coverage cannot guarantee shots not being blocked either by a photographer or a guest.
Another example of single camera coverage. In this case we used a 360 VR camera (edited in over capture) to provide an opening to the video and to provide a few cutaways at the start of the ceremony.
